How we safely store and handle dangerous goods
At CVC Components, we take the safe storage and handling of dangerous goods very seriously, adhering to all relevant UK regulations and industry best practices. Our dedicated storage areas for hazardous materials are clearly marked, well-ventilated, and equipped with the appropriate safety equipment, including spill containment systems, fire suppression systems, and protective barriers.
All staff handling dangerous goods receive comprehensive training in safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and emergency response procedures. We also ensure that all materials are properly labelled and stored in accordance with their specific safety requirements, minimising risk and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance throughout our operations.

Acids and Caustic Substances
We store acids and caustic substances separately in clearly labelled, secure containers within a well-ventilated area to prevent harmful reactions.
Flammable Stock
Flammable materials are stored in approved safety cabinets to limit internal temperatures during a fire, preventing the stored contents from spreading of fire or causing an explosion.
Explosive Materials
Explosive materials stock at CVC Components are stored in fire-resistant storage areas, compliant with regulations, away from ignition sources and unauthorised access.
